The One Academy advertising & graphic design students were encouraged by their lecturers to participate in Candy Land Creative T-shirt Design Competition held by Queensbay Mall, Penang. There were approximately 300 students who participated, from both The One Academy Bandar Sunway and Penang. Each student submitted the most extraordinary t-shirt design themed Candy Land, in conjunction of the Christmas event in the Penang mall. At the fanciful event, besides the Christmas celebration with various activities, the T-shirt design competition was a sideline, welcoming The One Academy to participate in the design contest to “sweeten” things up! It was held at the Central Atrium, Ground Floor of the mall.

With their candy-like colours and design submission, 3 advertising & graphic design students from The One Academy and their outstanding submission was selected as winners of the design competition. The candies appeared delicious and irresistible which led to win the judges’ hearts. 2nd place went to Ng En Ni, who received RM800 along with cash, shopping vouchers and certificate of participation.
