The graduating batch of students from Interior Design took visitors back in time with their exhibition – BaiLeMen G.EX 1701. ‘BaiLeMen’ is the Chinese term for The Paramount, an iconic nightclub and dancehall with its underlying meaning of ‘gate of 100 pleasures’. These 10 young interior designers who were dressed in traditional Chinese attire welcomed visitors to recall the glorious days of 1930s Shanghai and its alluring, dreamy nightlife. Just like the carefree and happy days of the past, these sentimental graduates-to-be wished to relive the nostalgia before stepping out into reality. We congratulate Valerie Tan Sing Yii, Carmen Foo Jia Wen, Joanna Chan Pi Zhen, Quennie Kwa Qian Ye, Chua E-Xuan, Tan Lai Zeng, Wong Ka Jun, Lim Tze Chien, Tan Shi Yee & Too Mun Wai, and wish them all the best in the next chapter of life!
