Alumni Tan Zi Hao graduated as a Dean’s List Scholar of Advertising & Graphic Design, TOA. Initially trained to be a graphic designer, he expanded his knowledge, medium and resources as a multi-disciplinary artist. Most of his works are predominantly installation and performance art. Currently pursuing PhD in National University of Singapore, Tan is also a writer whose socio-political commentaries are published in Malaysiakini. As a young artist, Tan sees beyond the surface of everyday objects and language, turning them into art. One of his most high-profiled installation is The Skeleton of Makara commissioned by Singapore Art Museum. Check out his website at www.tanzihao.net and be inspired.
