Madam Teoh Pow Yew returned with another round of awesome creative thinking exercises at The One Academy. Students were guided by the experienced trainer to unravel creative boundaries with various mind boggling tips and tricks to get students to think-out-of-the-box.
As a professional trainer in the training field, Madam Teoh specializes in creative thinking and development, mathematics and training other creative trainers. She has been in the field for more than 20 years, and has been dedicating her career to transforming children and adults into acknowledging & embracing their creative potential to problem solve.
During the sharing session, students learned to understand how to have their work recognized; according to Madam Teoh, it is a mindset shift to believe in your own capabilities that if you can ‘right’ the wrong information in this world, your work has value. In one of the highlights of the session, students also learned in depth about how to apply creative thinking not only in their work, but in their life too. Her advice to the students was never to be frustrated if they cannot complete their work or if they are feeling uninspired. Madam Teoh encouraged students to learn how to tackle moments like this instead of pressuring ourselves to complete it. This method has been proven to work because it helps individuals to reenergize and refresh their minds before continuing with the rest of their work.
With this creative exercise, Madam Teoh hoped that the young creative students at The One Academy will be able to stand out as unique individuals. These exercises will help students develop awareness on their creative thinking abilities and learn to think out-of-the-box to come up with great ideas in future.
