Multimedia Tutor
cum Designer
Core Competency Requirement:
Min qualification: Diploma in Multimedia Design, Computer Graphics or equivalent.
Min of 2 years working experience as a Multimedia Designer or in a related field.
Strong knowledge of design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand), multimedia applications (Dreamweaver, Flash, Director, After Effect, Premiere, lightwave/3D Studio Max) and programming language (ActionScript, HTML, JavaScript).
Familiar with building websites, CD-ROM production, 2d/3d animation and video, motion graphic production.
Good command of English and Mandarin in both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities :
[ ACADEMIC ]
Facilitate lecturers and conduct tutorials for students in the field of Multimedia Design.
Critique students' work, monitor students' performance, facilitate lecturers in marking and grading students' work and improve/compile lecture kits and teaching materials.
[ IT AND NEW MEDIA R&D ]
Work with a group of designers, programmers and lecturers in IT-related fields and New Media research & development for both academic and multimedia project purposes.

Work closely with the Multimedia Design team in New Media projects and productions such as website development & production, CD-ROM production, video production and print production.



Lecturer
Interior Design /Interior Architectural Course
Core Competency Requirement:
Degree qualification with at least 2 years teaching experience or equivalent industry related experience.
Having a teaching certificate will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities :
[ ACADEMIC ]
1.1 Lecturing
Conduct lecturing and facilitating all academic activities. This also includes critique of the students’ work, monitoring the students’ performance, marking and grading students’ assignments and projects, conducting counseling to students, QA activities and facilitation of the program.
Ensure all lecture contents are delivered in a clear, precise manner and practicing accurate communication.
1.2 Course Kit Development
Participating in course research & development to enhance and upgrade course syllabus and course kits, and improving/compiling lecture kits and teaching materials.

Design/create interior design / interior architectural contents that would increase the company’s recognition in the academic and creative industry.

Facilitate the QA process and validation of the program from time to time.

4 .1 Self-Development

5 .1 Network & Liaison
Constantly network with professionals in the creative and interior design industry to build a bridge between the company and the industry, and invite these professionals to conduct workshops/sharing sessions for staff and students.
5 .2 Creative Entrepreneur Project
Initiate, develop and execute new courses/projects that would successfully generate extra revenue to the company.
Work closely with HOD for any new course development.

5 .3 Project Production & Development
Work closely with the team of interior design and other faculty department, when required and authorized by Academic Head, in projects and productions to provide quality solutions in design, execution and project implementation.


Lecturer
Contextual Studies
Core Competency Requirement:
MA in Visual Communication/Art, Fine Art, Art History, Interactive and Multimedia Design and Design Studies.
Teaching certificate holders will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in English language is a must.
Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
Problem solving and possess strong analytical ability.

[ PROGRAMME DEVELOPEMENT ]
Assisting Academic Head in official/governmental documentation for programme validation, Ministry of Education and Lembaga Akreditasi Negara (LAN).
Conduct research activities to facilitate and support the development of the teaching contents and the TOA Diploma and Degree programme.
Facilitate the QA and audit process and validation exercises with moderators, auditors and link tutors.


[ CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ]
To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Preparation of all documentation pertaining to the Examination Board, Internal and External Subject Moderators and subjects coordination with guest lecturers, will be a crucial responsibility to ensure that all standards of quality is maintained within the policies drafted by LAN, JPS, ISO and any form of academic validation.
The up keeping of all ISO documentation procedures and other TOA policies.


Software Engineer
IT
Core Competency Requirement:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalents.
Preferably 1-2 years working experience in software development. Fresh graduate with PHP knowledge are also encourage to apply.
Strong understanding in object oriented programming concept.
Knowledge of SQL is essential and proficient in ASP, PHP, APACHE, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, MYSQL, MSSQL and AJAX.
Good in time management and ability to work in both team and individually.
Experience and understand software lifecycle and SDLC.
Extensive knowledge in web programming.
Independent and well verse in critical analysis.



Responsibilities :
Responsible to compile user requirement and propose solution to increase the works efficiency and effectiveness.
To carry out testing on the prototype.
Develop custom built applications using PHP and MYSQL.
Involve in software/ application implementation.
Plan and conduct user training to department staff on the software/application that is internally developed.
Monitor the software development process closely to meet the projected deadline.
Must be creative and able to suggest new idea to the management to achieve higher work effectiveness and efficiency.
Must be willing to learn new / complimentary skills / technologies.
Always updated with the latest programming tools.
Responsible to update Senior Web Designer and HOD on the daily task updates and software development progress.
Manage and maintain existing in-house application such as ticketing system etc. .
Provide department support service when necessary.

All self-development and R&D activities must be related to academic or design or Multimedia/IT related issues.
2.2 Information Sharing

To spend 30% of the total working hours to work closely with the team of Multimedia Design in:
3.1 Developing TOA Degree Programme
To undertake the development of the degree programme which includes the teaching contents, materials, references, lesson plans, assessment method, assignment briefs and etc.
To facilitate the Q.A. process and validation of the programme from time to time.
3.2 Project Production & Development
To work closely with the team of Multimedia in new media projects and production such as website development & production, CD-ROM production, video production and print production.



Database Assistant
ADMIN
Core Competency Requirement:
SPM or diploma qualification.
Fresh graduates or 1 – 2 years working experience.
Must be male.
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word & Excel).
Possess administrative skills.

Responsibilities :
To be based at The One Gallery.
Ensure all set-ups and dismantling at The One Gallery is carried out accordingly.
Ensure that all equipment and furniture in The One Gallery is in order and that the gallery is in good condition at all times.
To assist in keying-in of database used by the Marketing Dept.
To assist in sending of promotional items to database.
Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.


Senior Lecturer / Lecturer
Advertising & Graphic Design Course
Core Competency Requirement:
Master/Bachelor Degree in Art/Advertising/Graphic Design or related field.
2-3 years working experience or related working experience, preferably in an academic environment (for Senior Lecturer).
Proficient in advertising/art/design, creative and conceptual design, and theories.
Has a flair for teaching and able to interact well with students.
Strong in R&D skills; course syllabus planning and monitoring, review assignment/project.
Strong leadership, responsible and independent.
Strong command of English Language (both written and oral).
Good administration skills an added advantage.
Able to work in a team.



CGI Artists / Senior Lecturers
Digital Animation Course
Core Competency Requirement:
Master/Bachelor Degree in Computer Graphic Design or equivalent. Strong capabilities in animation, in both computer traditional forms.
Have clear understanding of animation principles like Timing, Weight, Squash & Stretch, Overlap & Follow-through, Action & Reaction, Anticipation, Posing & Staging, Depth & Volume, Beat & Rhythm, Arcs and Solidity.
Have experience and proficient in computer graphics modeling & animation packages, and with clear understanding of 3D graphics techniques.
Have a sense of design.
Possess good command of English Language (both written and verbal), good communication skill with all levels, have a flair for teaching and able to interact well with students.
Good in R&D skills, leadership, responsible, independent and able to work in a team.
Abilities to sculpt and knowledge of program language is added advantage.



Administrative Assistant
Creative Department
Responsibilities:
Supports the preparation of appointments, related administrative documentation and authorizations based on information received.
Prepare statistical reports for media related documents and filing.
To keep track, record and maintain proper documentation.
To carry out daily administration job in creative department.
Other duties as requested.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a SPM/"O" Level, professional certificate or equivalent.
Knowledge in computer literacy in MS Excel, MS Office and MS Word.
At least 1 year working experience or fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage filing system and provide administrative support.

Graphic Designer

Good time management, coordination and organisational skills of own project timelines.


Requirements:
Diploma in Graphic Design / Art & Design or equivalent.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop , Adobe indesign in Mac operating system.
Preferably with strong design fundamentals and meticulous eye for details.
Knowledgeable in preparing FA to printer.
Able to work under pressure, independently and long hours when required.
Required language(s): Chinese and English.
At least 1 to 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Creative Department
Responsibilities:
Provided digital photographic services and corporate communication design for the organization.
Maintain the photograph database, including editing, colour manage, downloading, categorizing and filing of photos.
Maintain the photography equipment.


Requirements:
Diploma in art & design or/and minor in photography.
Able to work on weekends and irregular hours.
Good photography skills, able to work without supervision.
Knowledge of standard photographic practices, procedures, equipments, materials and supplies.
Competent in photography related software e.g. Adobe Photoshop.
Energetic, hardworking, team player with creative contributions, independent, thrives in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
